Dr. Kendall L. Taylor, DHL

Dr. Kendall Taylor is the Co-Founder and CEO of Salute 1st Academy of Men. His organization is geared towards challenging men to embrace the call of leadership and its associated sacrifices. Their approach of Perspective Realignment, challenges men to revisit ancient principles and universal truths in hopes of developing a sustainable foundation for manhood, leadership and success. 

Salute 1st services men of all ages whether they are found in prisons, school systems or other faculty-structured-environements where the E1 Program can be effectively conducted. The key mechanism for company’s success is based on its culture-based training curriculum that is uniquely tailored to address current conditions of False Masculinity and Toxic Culturalism. 

Dr. Taylor is the Founder & President of Salute Global, a 501c3 tax exempt organization, which aims to create Pathways Centers in disadvantaged communities through corporate alliances to position individuals for success through vocational and job training for employment in sustainble careers.

After his last conviction & release in 2007, he took an entrey level job at a warehouse of a minority owned business. Through his dedication and determination, Dr. Taylor secured 49% ownership in less than 3 years. Under his leadership, the company grew 400% and expanded regionally through strategic partnerships and innovative leadership techniques. His success afforded him Charlotte’s MBE of Distinction of the Year award. His achievements paved the way for a scholarship to the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Sonoco’s Leadership Academy, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce’s CMEDI’s Accelerated Business Initiative, BMW’s Black Belt Program, and numersous accomplishments such as receiving an Honroary Doctorate in Human Letters for his tireless contribution to community & society at large. 

Dr. Taylor is also the President and Partner at Rock Soul Inc. with his beautiful wife Fantasia Taylor. Together they effectively collaborate to secure and maintain ownership of intellectual property, music masters, and control over executive and creative brands. 

Dr. Taylor is uncompromsing in his faith and devotion to his family. He shares four amazing children with his wife and resides in Charlotte, NC.
