Cecile S. Jones, M.Ed

 Ms. Cecile Jones is a proud graduate of St. James High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University. As a certified teacher, she furthered her education with a master’s degree in educational leadership and a certification in Educational Technology from Nicholls State University.

Currently serving as the Director of Business Development-Gulf Coast for Salute Global Inc, Cecile’s dedication to youth development through education spans over 23 years. Her career includes roles as a reading teacher, media specialist, and leader of the “Wildcat Productions” media program at St. James High School. Through this initiative, she pioneered innovative approaches to youth media, creative development, and media literacy.

Throughout her career, Cecile has received numerous awards for her exemplary work in teaching and community service, with recognition in Arts & Culture, Business & Industry, Education, Technology, and Youth Achievement. She is deeply passionate about guiding young people to explore life paths that shape both their personal and professional growth. Cecile thrives on inspiring young minds, helping them discover their potential and their place in the world.

Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. A devoted mother to three daughters—Hannah, Halle, and Heidi—Cecile proudly calls Louisiana home and continues to make a meaningful impact on both her family and community.
